Echo 87.7FM is a commercial radio station with studios and offices based in the heart of Farnborough. Echo broadcasts from Farnborough College of Technology on Boundary Road to a radius of approximately 10KM. This includes Farnborough, Aldershot, Camberley and Fleet.

As a local station we aim to cater for the community in and around Farnborough including neighbouring counties of Surrey and Berkshire. We also aim to cater for 18-35 year olds across the country/worldwide through the power of the Internet. Echo plays music that is specifically targeted at this audience. So this includes recent chart music and music from the last 10 years. Echo also focuses heavily on local news, events, traffic and weather

Researching within our aimed target age group, there are currently 42,333 people aged 21 to 55 living in Rushmoor alone. We will also be broadcasting beyond the borough of Rushmoor, bringing in more potential audience numbers totalling over 65,000 people.

Echo 87.7FM is fundamentally a commercial radio station with a Restricted Service Licence (RSL). The station is predominantly funded by advertising and sponsorship from local businesses big or small, so the more support we receive, the more publicity businesses will gain over the month, to more potential customers at a reasonable cost.
